Sharon Kathleen Phillips
July 22, 1952 ~ February 25, 2011
Sharon Kathleen Phillips passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on February 25, 2011 in Creston, BC at the age of 58 years.
Sharon was born to parents Evelyn and Gerald Phillips on July 22, 1952 in Creston. She was employed as a clerk at Pharmasave for a short time and then worked there as a pharmacy technician for twenty-nine years.
Sharon was very active and enjoyed numerous sports including bowling, slo-pitch, ladies' softball, Relay for Life and the 4-H club. She also enjoyed needlework and baking.
Sharon was predeceased by her parents, Evelyn and Gerald Phillips; and infant sister Sandra Evelyn Phillips.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Joan (Robin) Morris, Edna (Peter) Much, Linda Hobden, Lorna (Pat) Folick, Eileen (Wayne) Adams and Marion (Rick) Borgstrom; brothers Allan (Eileen) Phillips and Lloyd (Bonnie) Phillips; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday March 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity United Church with Pastor Harry Haberstock officiating.
