Sharon Ann Uri

Sharon Ann Uri passed away peacefully on September 27, 2016 with family by her side.
Born in Wynndel, BC on March 2, 1946 to Beryl and Donald Uri, Sharon was the oldest of five children. She spent her childhood helping her family with their strawberry and potato farm and would sneak off to her grandma's for a well deserved break - she had very fond memories of the time she spent with her grandma. She attended school in Creston, BC and spent most of her adult life there as well. She enjoyed many sports in her younger years and in the past few years she looked forward to her time swimming and going for coffee with her best friend, Lena. She raised two daughters, who blessed her with five grandchildren, and later enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Being a grandmother was the pride and joy of her life. She was the most amazing grandmother a child could ever hope for, and she will always be remembered for being able to put a smile on her grandchildren's faces, no matter the circumstances.
Sharon will be fondly remembered and missed greatly by her daughters Debbie (Carrie) and Shannon (Bill); her grandchildren Amanda (Ryan), Dani (Dustin), Jordan (Taiya), Lane and Logan as well as her four great-grandchildren, Carter, Lucas, Aiden and Carson. She is also survived by her siblings Marion, Dianne, Leonard and Rick.
We miss you Tick, and though it hurts to imagine life without you, we are thankful you're at peace and will keep you in our hearts forever.
