July 12, 1948 - March 16, 2019
Sally passed away peacefully at Vancouver General Hospital on March 16, 2019 with her family by her side. Sally was born and raised in Creston and grew up in a musical family and was an accomplished pianist, who also played the organ and directed the choir at the Trinity United Church in Creston in her teen years. She also played the French horn in the PCSS band and was extremely handy with a needle and thread. After graduating from PCSS in 1966 she moved to Vancouver where she lived and worked until 1986 when she moved to Squamish.

Sally was a valued staff member at the Squamish General Hospital where she worked for 29 years during which time she also held the role of union steward. She was a strong person who stood up for her beliefs and the people around her.

Sally was a warm and caring person who loved her family and cared deeply about her friends. She possessed an engaging and charming wit and her contagious laughter will be sorely missed.

She is lovingly remembered by her son Garrett (Kaitlan), grandson Frank, mother Violet, sister Judy, brother Russel (Shelagh), nephews, nieces and cousins and longtime companion Marian. She was predeceased by her father Michael in 2010. A celebration of life was held in Squamish on Sunday, April 28th.

RIP Dear Sally.
