Oct 22, 1921 - Dec 18, 2017
Robert Milton "Bob" Ramseier was born on October 22, 1921 in Camrose, Alberta. He attended a one-room school until grade seven.

He and his brothers Willy, and Edgar, and three sisters Milly, Clara and Myrtel, helped on the family farm with their parents and grandparents. Entertainment was ice skating on a pond in the winter time, and ball games and family picnics in the summer.

In the fall of 1945 the family moved to Creston. Bob rode in a box car with two milk cows, some chickens and two dogs, as well as a coupe car. It took him three days to arrive.

He worked a variety of jobs such as putting up wires for phone lines in Riondel, and hauling milk and cream. But his love of farming and cattle won out.

Bob met and married Emma Berndt in 1955.

With Emma's passing in 2002, Bob and Edgar continued to farm. As time went by Bob leased the land for hay and garlic.

After living a good life and 96 years of memories, we have to let him go. But, as Bob would say "Leave it to Beaver!"

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 11:00 am at Grace Christian Fellowship, 2416 Cedar Street, Creston, B.C., Pastor David Ripley Officiating.
