November 5, 1929 - January 24, 2019
Keith was born in Halbrite, SK. He was one of five children born to Jim and Reba Forseth.

He was predeceased by his parents; wife Evelyn; daughter Wendy King; and brothers Don and Bruce.

He is survived by his sisters Joyce Andrei and Norma Linney and families; son Merle and Lorraine Forseth; grandchildren Graham King, Carley Loder and their respective families as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves his family of the heart, Ina Schultz, Kevin and Charlotte Smith, as well as the many friends made during his time in Creston.

Dad was not a lifelong resident of the Creston area, but since retiring to the area nearly 30 years ago, felt like he had been there all his life. He became involved in the activities surrounding the Creston Seniors' Center and was especially proud of receiving his Lifetime Membership. Dad was involved in the hall operation, playing horseshoes, pool, cards and being the head dishwasher at the Seniors' monthly pancake breakfast.

In his free time, he enjoyed every minute that he spent building birdhouses and processing walnuts with his special friend Ina Schultz. I don't know how either of them ever got the walnut stain off their fingers.

Ina and her family, Kevin and Charlotte Smith made him a part of their family. Dad was an independent soul, living on his own until the onset of dementia required his move into the Harris Unit of Swan Valley Lodge.

Special thanks to all the caregivers on the Harris Unit at Swan Valley Lodge. These caregivers are a special group of individuals with hearts that keep giving. Dad appreciated the love, kindness and care you gave him during his stay.

In respect of his wishes, there will be no funeral service. Any donations in his memory can be made to Swan Valley Lodge - Harris Unit, 818 Vancouver Street, Bag 3000, Creston, BC, V0B 1G4.
