In loving memory ~
Bob passed away peacefully at the Oilfields General Hospital on March 31, 2022 after having lost his battle with Cancer. His last days were spent surrounded by family and friends ... joking, laughing and kibbitzing.
Bob was one of 10 children born to William and Nora. Bob loved the outdoors, camping, Jeeping, tinkering on projects, spending time with family and friends and playing all sorts of board & card games. Bob also loved his dog 'Mittens' and she went with him wherever he did. They were an inseparable duo.
Bob always had a positive outlook, a twinkle in his eyes and looked forward to each and every new adventure, whatever it may be. He was always up for a challenge and lived his life 'his way, on his terms'. Bob was the ultimate practical joker and loved to prank his family whenever he could.
The stories are numerous and not listed to protect the innocent. When Bob wasn't playing practical jokes, he was lending a helping hand or providing understanding and non-judgemental ear to those he loved. He would do anything for people he loved and protect them with his life.
Bob will forever be remembered and loved by his children, Angela Webber (Geoff) - West Kelowna, BC, Dave Cress (Sherry) - Turner Valley, AB, Cory Cress (Andrea) - Stettler, AB, and Amanda Young (Jonathan) - London, UK. Bob is also survived by his Grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, Kristen Webber (Declan) - Los Angeles, CA, Taylor Cress (Travis) - Okotoks, AB, and Evan Webber - Edmonton, AB.
Bob is also survived by six sisters and numerous nieces and nephews from across Canada.
At Bob's request there will be no Service or Memorial. The family will have a private gathering in the Summer of 2022 to spread his ashes and say their final goodbyes.
The family wishes to thank the Staff at Oilfields General Hospital and Homecare for their kindness, support, and care of Bob throughout his illness and eventual hospitalization.
