In Loving Memory ~
One Thought to Keep
I give you this one thought to keep -
I am with you still - I do not sleep.
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.

Last spring Rob was diagnosed with stage 4 renal cancer. He lived each day with joy and was grateful for the extra time he had to spend with family and friends. Thank you to the oncology staff in Kelowna and Cranbrook, the palliative nurses in Creston and to Dr. Turanich and all the Creston Hospital staff that cared for him in his final days. Rob always spoke of the quality of care he was receiving and how much he appreciated it.
Rob leaves behind his wife Stephanie, sons Rowan, Ian and Vaughn, his much loved daughters-in-law Ray Ann and Shay, and his beautiful granddaughter Gemma. Also, Kelsey, forever in his heart. His brothers Frank, Richard (Robin), and sister Louise (Ken) as well as many nieces and nephews.
In his final days Rob was thinking of his family and all the friends he made through the years and he wanted you to know that he loved you.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
