Raymond “Ray” Piskor

Mr. Raymond “Ray” Piskor of Lethbridge, beloved companion of Mary Ott, passed away at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the age of 68 years.
Ray was born on June 32nd (he always said), 1948 at Ethelbert, Manitoba to Walter and Anna Piskor and was one of five children. After a few moves they finally settled in Wynndel in 1959. Dad started his own family in 1965 and he had four kids: Barb, Chris, Dawn (Jeff), and Shane (Marni). He started his upholstery in the 70’s while working at Crestbrook where he got his millwright ticket. Dad enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He was a very strong family man that provided for all of us.
Besides his loving companion Mary Ott, Ray is survived by his daughters Barbara Piskor of Creston, BC, Dawn (Jeff) Hollan of Lethbridge, AB; son Shane (Marni) Piskor of Cranbrook, BC; grandchildren Donovan (Faith) Skidmore of Raymond and great-granddaughters Lucy and Dallas Skidmore of Raymond.
Ray was predeceased by his parents Walter and Anna Piskor; his son Chris (Melissa) Piskor; and his sister Mary Fokema.
