Raymond Maurice Hindley
May 16, 1931 ~ February 22, 2016
Raymond Maurice Hindley, a resident of Swan Valley Lodge, Creston, B.C. passed away after a lengthy illness at the age of 84.
Maurice was born and raised in Creston. He worked at Wynndel Box & Lumber Company for 40 plus years. He was married on October 28, 1957 in Creston to Dona Walker, his lifemate.
Maurice was an accomplished woodworker and carver. He very much enjoyed golfing and was especially fond of spending time with his grandchildren. Being out in the wild was also one of his favourite pasttimes.
Maurice is predeceased by his father Charles, mother Auslaugh, brothers Rolf, David, and Jimmy.
Maurice is survived by his wife Dona, daughter Karla, son Randy, granddaughters Kaily and Erin, grandson Jerrod, and great-granddaughter Charleigh.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 1pm at GF Oliver Funeral Chapel.
