Peter Czar
January 31, 1927 ~ May 2, 2011
Peter was born in Three Hills, Alberta on January 31, 1927. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Peter moved to British Columbia at the age of 16. He worked throughout BC and settled in Creston, working for the Forest service. He enjoyed his time working in the outdoors in the mountains around Creston, where he found his love of fishing, hunting, hiking, and huckleberry picking. He also liked to go camping and travelling with family, especially his wife, Dzidra. He particularly enjoyed his travels to northern Canada and sharing his experiences.
Peter was predeceased by his son Ewan (Terry).
He is survived by his loving wife Dzidra; four children Jeffrey (Joanne), Alfred (Karen), Richard (Carrie) and Diana; grandchildren Jacqueline, Andrea, Dallyn, Shelby, Lexi, Reegan, Brayden and Jordin; sisters Mary Neufeld and Anne Cain.
Private Family Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation or BC Wildlife Foundation.
