Peter passed away in Creston, BC at the age of 84 years.
Peter was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba. His family criss-crossed Canada and eventually ended up in Vancouver where he attended high school and later, UBC.
Peter was an avid skier and hiker. His many years as a surveyor afforded him the joy of work outdoors. In his retirement, he enjoyed woodworking, reading, and visits with family and friends. Peter was passionate about fair governance. He worked stalwartly as a job steward, was a member of West Fernie Waterworks, and as a RDEK Director.
Peter is lovingly remembered by his wife Leny; four children: Erin (Dave), Fiona, Kieron (Lois) and Nadine (Kevin); four step-children: John (Vivian), Marie (Rob), Helen (Dave) and Paul; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and his brothers Michael and Terry.
