Penny E. Ludwar (nee Mesenchuk)

October 5, 1961 - October 4, 2019
t is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our mom, Penny Ludwar, on October 4, 2019 in Trail, BC at the age of 57.
Penny was born on October 5, 1961 in Creston BC to Gerald and Ardel Mesenchuk. She grew up and spent her childhood years with siblings, Cindy and Danny. They had many wonderful memories over the years with extended family and friends. Treasured memories include gardening and hauling wood with the Mesenchuk family, lake time at Cumming's Resort with cousins and spending holidays together, enjoying good food and making lasting memories.
Penny was a very generous and loving mother and grandmother. Always cooking, cleaning, and taking great care of her children's every need. She will be missed by them dearly.
Penny loved hosting gatherings of friends and family and preparing delicious food for everyone to enjoy. She always looked out for everyone else's needs before her own.
Penny was an excellent hockey mom and opened her home to several of Trav's hockey teammates throughout the years.
One of Penny's greatest blessings were her three grandchildren, who gave her tons of love and laughs over the years. She loved to spend time with them and spoil them, she was also looking forward to meeting a fourth grandchild soon.
Penny loved the company of her best friend and companion Ron. They enjoyed many hours together playing cards, laughing at old memories and spending weekends together at the lake.
Penny is pre-deceased by her precious daughter Braidy, sister Cindy, cousin Laurie, and her dad's partner, Cherie.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving partner Ron, her children Melissa (Bob), Travis (Morgan), grandchildren, Camrie, Haley, and Liam, previous husband, Garth, family friend, Herb, parents, Gerald and Ardell (Karl), brother, Danny, brother-in-law, Ray, and their families, and Ron's children, Jamie, Nikki, and Ryley, and their families and all the other friends and family who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life will take place on Friday October 25, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1010 36th Ave N. Erickson BC. Pastor Harry Haberstock officiating.
Internment will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Erickson, where she will be laid to rest next to her sweet little girl.
