Nina Louise Nesbitt (nee Phipps)

Nina Louise Nesbitt (nee Phipps), of Creston, BC, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 in the Creston Valley Hospital at the age of 81 years.
Nina was born to parents Harry and Martha Phipps in Burdett, AB. The youngest of five children, the Phipps came by horse and wagons to Creston when Nina was two years of age. Nina was a long time employee of the Creston Valley Co-op and later went to work at the Packing Shed when Co?op closed.
Nina was predeceased by parents Harry and Martha Phipps; sister Vi Starks; and brother Ray Phipps.
She will be remembered by her three children, Barbara Bailey of Fort St. James, BC, Bruce (Deb) Nesbitt of Stoney Plain, AB, and Mary Jane Jackman of Fruitvale, BC; two sisters Marble Gray and Lois Price of Creston, BC; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Graveside Service was held on Monday, December 31, 2012 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erickson, BC.
