Marlayne Worthington

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Marlayne Worthington who gently passed away on July 22, 2020 at the age of 73 years.
Marlayne Frances Wienmeyer was born in Outlook, SK on May 27, 1947 to parents George and Drucilla Wienmeyer. She was raised with an appreciation for family and instilled with an earnest work ethic.
She blossomed into a beautiful and graceful young lady with many talents. She was charming, humorous and kind with a compassionate heart for her dogs.
Her artistic abilities allowed her to gain employment as a hairstylist and beautician with Red Seal Certification. She was adept as a jewelry artisan, silversmith, painter and sketch artist. She loved to collect rocks and gemstones, dabble in her garden, and chat late into the night over a cup of coffee but her greatest passion was for her family. Marlayne was blessed with a devoted family whom she cherished above all else.
A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and loyal friend, she will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
She is survived by her beloved children and step-children, Earl (September) Williams, Shayne (Peg) Williams, Raymond Williams, Cindy Williams and Kim (Charlie) Wincott; nineteen cherished grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; her brothers, Willie (Barb) Weinmeyer, Brian (Julia) Weinmeyer and Darwyn Weinmeyer; nine nieces and nephews; as well as the many friends she made throughout her lifetime.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Worthington; parents, George & Drucilla Weinmeyer; brother, Paul; sister-in-law, Wanda; and nephew, Terry.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted by the family on August 8, 2020 at 2 pm on the family acreage at 7332 Range Road, 1-5 pm in Lundbreck.
