Marie Jeannette Therese Gildemeester (nee Royer)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Jeannette Therese Gildemeester (nee Royer) on January 6th, 2023, in Creston, B.C. at the age of 89 years.
Jeannette was born on September 24th, 1933, in St. Louis, SK. She worked for over 20 years as a banker. Jeannette was a Catholic who has travelled to many exciting places and loved knitting and especially her dog, Soleil. Her kindness and warmth were felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Jeannette was predeceased by her parents Maria and Auguste Royer, husbands Clifford Misener and Robert Gildemeester, brothers Leo and Berchmans Royer, and daughter Louise Misener. Jeannette will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Carol (Harry) Depner and Terry Schneider, son Robert (Sharri) Misener, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many special friends.
A Celebration of Life Tea was held on Tuesday, January 10th, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Holy Cross Catholic Church Hall.
In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to make a memorial contribution may do so to the SPCA - East Kootenay, 2229 Hwy 3 & 95, Cranbrook, B.C. V1C 4H6.
