Margaret "Joyce" Slattery passed away on December 22, 2018 in Creston, BC.
Margaret was born in Saskatchewan, and was educated there and in Ontario.
She was a member of the Catholic Women's League at the Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents John and Lena Lucas; many loved aunts, uncles and cousins; and nephews Tim and Robin Keating of Calgary.
She is survived by her husband T.B. Slattery; sister Marie Schmaltz; brothers Ken (Rose) Lucas and Dan (Wendy) Lucas; nieces and nephews: Michael, David and Lisa Schmaltz and their families; Lori Ann and Stacey Lucas and their families; Mark, Danielle, Matthew and Dierdre Lucas and their families, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
She will be missed by the group at CWL and her uncle Joe Stadnyk, the last of her uncles and aunts and her Calgary family Betty, Jim and Chase Keating.
A mass will be held at Holy Cross Church at the end of January, 2019.
