Margaret was born in Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan on June 22, 1929. She was raised in Palmer, Saskatchewan where she attended school.
She went to the Grey Nuns School of Nursing in Regina, Saskatchewan where she acquired her Registered Nursing Degree.
Margaret married Robert "Bob" Charles Rauch on September 13, 1952 in Golden, B.C. They had six children together, five of which were born in Golden, B.C. They then moved to Hazelton, B.C. where number six was born. The family then moved to Creston, B.C. in 1964 where Margaret remained until her passing.
Margaret volunteered with the Hospice Society, public health, and was actively involved with the Catholic Church. She loved cooking, reading, and sewing.
Margaret is predeceased by her husband Robert" Bob" Rauch; sisters Leona, Mary, and Ellen; brothers Gerard, Lenord, Michael (Mike), Bernie, and Patrick.
She is survived by her children Susan (Larry) Walker, Reid (Patti) Rauch, Joanne (Gerry) Dombroski, Kelly Rauch, Donna (Michael) Robinson, and Patrick (Elena) Rauch; eleven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
Prayer Service was held Friday, December 29, 2017 and a Funeral Mass was held Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Creston, B.C.
