Margared Damgaard
March 12, 1931 ~ December 6, 2012
Margared Damgaard passed away on December 6, 2012 in Swan Valley Lodge, Creston, after a lengthy illness.
Margared was born in Carnduff, SK and received her education in Kimberley, BC.
She married Hank Naumann in 1948 and had five children - Marjorie, Mark, Marlys, Melvin and Morella. In 1965 she married Rudolf Damgaard and they adopted Corinna.
Margared loved travelling with Rudolf and friends, flea markets, bingo and her flower garden.
She was predeceased by her parents William and Emily Van Dene; brother Elvin; sisters Edna and Candas, and her husband Rudolf.
Margared is survived by her sisters Zena (Frank) Hamilton and Ellen (Laval) Poulin; brother Bill (Florence) Van Dene; children Marjorie (Vern), Mark, Marlys (Dale), Melvin, Morella (Alex) and Corinna (Brian); 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
