Mae Cook
February 3, 1931 ~ February 17, 2015
Mae Cook passed away peacefully on February 17, 2015 from Parkinson’s Disease, at the age of 84 years.
Mae was born to parents Grace and David Froebe on February 3, 1931 in Carman, MB. While growing up, she received her education in Homewood, MB, Carman, MB and Winnipeg, MB.
After her studies, Mae taught grades one through eight in a one-room schoolhouse in Manitoba. She taught until she married Neil Cook, on December 26, 1953 in Homewood, MB.
Mae was a member of the Creston Baptist Church and owned the Bible Bookstore.
Mae was predeceased by her brothers Don and Grant and her mother and father.
She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her six children; twenty-eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 10:00 am at Creston Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Bettig officiating.
