It is with great sadness that the family of Lloyd Ducharme announces his passing after a brief battle with cancer on August 15, 2019, at the age of 77. Lloyd was born and raised in
the Creston Valley where he met and married his wife Jean in 1965. They had 3 kids Wesley, Shawnene and Clint. Lloyd started working when he was only 14 years old sacking peas for Bill Piper. He worked for Cyril Colonel hauling cattle to Fort Macleod,
Alberta. After a few years of hauling cattle he went to work for Salvador and Sons. In 1979 he bought his first logging truck and formed his own company LWD LOGGING LTD. He retired from this in 2014.
Lloyd loved his family very much. He enjoyed camping and fishing when he found the time. He also loved his little American Eskimo dog "Lily". He is survived by his wife Jean of 54 years, daughter Shawnene, son Clint (Shawna), brothers Fred (Yvonne) and Larry. Also by 5 Grandkids and 5 Great Grandkids.
He is predeceased by his son Wesley in 2010. His parents Joe and Holly, sister Myrtle, brothers Frank(Lou), Grant and nephew Kim.
