Keith William Ross

September 10, 1963 - October 18, 2017

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Keith William Ross.

Keith was born on September 10, 1963 and was raised in Creston, BC. In 1975 he moved for a short time to Sayward, BC then onto Edmonton, AB. Keith worked as a heavy equipment operator and travelled throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan going where the work was. He had a great love for mopar, particularly hotrods. He was also a huge fan of AC/DC. His greatest love was his family. To his family he was a Son, Brother, Father, Uncle and Grandfather.

He will be deeply missed by his sisters Sherry (Glenn) Wood, being an uncle to their children Jason and Jamie, Iris Schomer, Sherry (Shawn) Thaxter, brother Don (April) Ross, and step mom Inez Johnson.

He is also survived by his children Jeremy, Alicia, Stephanie and Jessica and is predeceased by his daughter Kay-Tee. He also has two precious grandsons, Liam and Reid that he was so proud of and just wanted to teach them how to fish.

Keith was a loving, thoughtful person. He had a great sense of humour, loved a good laugh, fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends. Later in life, Keith was dealt an illness and chose to come back to Creston for a visit and ended up not leaving at all. He loved his hometown and had mentioned many times how much he enjoyed living in Creston.

The family would like to thank Reverend Paula Ashby and all parishioners of Trinity United Church for welcoming Keith into your community.

He was a proud man and would not ask for help from his family but in his time of need, you invited him into your hearts, sheltered him and provided him with a genuine friendship. We are forever grateful for your kindness.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Anglican Christ Church, 422 7 Ave N, Creston, with Reverend Paula Ashby officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please give back to your local community or the Diabetes Association.
