In loving memory ~
Joyce Katherine Keen (nee Kesslar) passed away peacefully on March 13, 2022, in Creston, BC at the age of 77 years.
Joyce was born on December 13, 1944, in Gravelbourg, SK to parents Sadie and Herman Kesslar. She was a very special lady, who was known for her strength, positivity, and willingness to always help others.
Joyce is predeceased by her husband Don Keen in April 2014 and two brothers.
Joyce will be dearly missed by her children Debbie (Dennis) Wuthrich, Jennifer Burton, and Wade (Nicole) Burton, grandchildren Melyssa (Josh) Sutton, Adam (Anna-Lisa) Wuthrich, Hunter (Alex) Burton, Tayman Burton, Tevin Burton, and three great grandchildren, stepchildren Patty Doering and Gordon Keen, step grandchildren Jennifer Doering, Cindy (Darren) Hoffman, Jolene (Ken) Mellor, Justin (Fiona) Doering, three sisters, two brothers, and a very special friend, Dale.
The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Dale for being there every day for our mom. A special thanks to Liz & Erhard as well - thank you for all you have done. Many thanks to all the many other friends who were a great help to mom.
As per Joyce's wishes there will be no Celebration of Life Service held.
Friends wishing to make a memorial contribution may do so to the charity of their choice.
