Josephine Victoria Weisbrodt (nee Tootkevick)

Josephine (Jo) Weisbrodt passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on January 11, 2011 following a lengthy illness.
Jo was born in Quapelle, Saskatchewan and attended school in Regina, Saskatchewan.
During WW II she worked in aircraft manufacturing. Jo married Walter (Wally) Weisbrodt in Regina in 1947. They moved to Calgary in 1951 and retired to Creston in 1987. Jo attended and served at Creston Baptist Church until failing health prevented her from attending.
She was predeceased by six siblings.
Jo is survived by her loving husband Wally, four children, thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A service for Jo was held at Creston Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 11:00 am with Pastor Brian Atmore officiating.
Interment followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erickson, BC.
