Jordan Joseph De Young
It’s with great sadness the family of Jordan announces his sudden passing on June 6, 2013 in the city of his birth, Fort McMurray, AB at the age of 21.
At an early age Jordan moved with his family to British Columbia. It was here that he discovered his passions for swimming, diving and snowboarding. The family returned to Fort McMurray in 2003.
Jordan enrolled in the RAP program while attending Westwood Community High School and became a Journeyman Crane operator in 2011. He had a zest for travel and adventure and was actively planning an itinerary for his next trip.
Jordan will be sorely missed and forever loved by his parents Paul and Eveline De Young, big brother John and little sister Lindsay De Young as well as numerous relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 pm, Friday, June 14, 2013 at the United Church of Canada, 10003 Gordon Avenue, Fort McMurray AB.
