Helena (Helen) Lambert

Helena (Helen) Lambert passed away unexpectedly from premature organ failure in the Cranbrook Regional Hospital on September 3, 2012 at the age of 76 years.
Helen was the first of twelve children born to parents Aganetha and Peter Wiebe on December 5, 1935 near Swift Current, SK. She received her education in Wymark, SK.
Helen married Leo T. Lambert on November 11, 1967 in Westlock, AB. Shortly after they were married the couple moved and made Creston, BC their home.
Helen enjoyed numerous crafts such as quilting, crocheting and tending to her flowers.
Helen was predeceased by her parents Aganetha and Peter Wiebe; husband Leo Lambert; grandson Marc Lambert; brother Cornie and sisters Betty and Anne.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Ernie (Halina); granddaughter Robyn; great-granddaughters Kayla and Scout; sisters Mary, Agnes, Agatha and Tina; brothers Peter, Abe, Henry and Willie, many nieces, nephews and others from this large extended family as well as her many good friends and neighbours.
A Memorial Service was held Wednesday September 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at G. F. Oliver Funeral Chapel with Canon Randy Wood officiating.
