Gwendolyn Jeanette Forrester
March 11, 1959 ~ April 4, 2016
Gwen Forrester of Creston, BC passed away at the age of 57 on April 4, 2016 after a short battle with cancer.
Gwen was born in 1959 in Kingston, Ontario to Lloyd and Sylvia Forrester. Gwen received her education at Prince Charles Secondary School in Creston. She attended the University of Calgary Dental Assistant Program. She worked for Dr. Catherall for 33 years, until his retirement.
Gwen had a passion for animals. She loved Kootenay Lake and her Harley.
She was predeceased by her father Lloyd Forrester in 2008.
Gwen is survived by her husband Tom Olenczuk; mother Sylvia Wight; brothers Steve Forrester (Beth) and Chris Forrester (Barb); niece Nicole Forrester; nephews Joshua, Steven-Michael and Jesse Forrester; and aunt Shirley Forrester.
A Funeral Service took place April 9, 2016 at New Life Christian Church, with pastor Gordon Lawrence officiating.
