Gerald Edgar Phillips

Gerald Edgar Phillips passed away on September 9, 2010 in Creston, BC at the age of 93 years.
Gerald was born in Hazenmore, Sask. on September 23, 1916 to parents Francis and Robert Phillips. He was educated in Saskatchewan until moving to Creston where he continued his schooling.
Gerald married Evelyn Wilson on December 25, 1944 in Mickley, England. They came back to Creston where Gerald was a dairy farmer in Lister, BC until June 1978.
He enjoyed gardening, walking, playing cards, watching ball games and most of all, spending time with his family.
Gerald was predeceased by his parents Francis and Robert Phillips, infant daughter Sandra Evelyn Phillips, sister Reetha Montgomery and brother Norman Phillips.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Evelyn Phillips, daughters Joan (Robin) Morris, Edna (Peter) Much, Linda Hobden, Sharon Phillips, Lorna (Pat) Folick, Eileen (Wayne) Adams, Marion (Rick) Borgstrom, sons Allan (Eileen) Phillips, Lloyd (Bonnie) Phillips, sister Eva Hine, twenty grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday September 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity United Church with Pastor Harry Haberstock officiating.
Interment to follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erickson BC.
