It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our Mom Florence H. Webb on February 14, 2019 at the age of 95 years.

Flo was born on the family farm in Mirror, Alberta on Oct 3, 1923 to Harold and Alice Plaister. She has an older sister Dorothy and younger brother John (Jack). She received her schooling in a country school about mile from the homestead, and yes, she walked uphill both ways. Flo ventured into Calgary where she worked at the National Bakery and met the love of her life, Russ Webb.

They married on April 4, 1953 in Calgary. They lead an adventurer's life traveling all over Alberta and BC. Russ's work led them traveling with the railway, and road construction. They settled in Leduc in 1959 to raise their three children, Carol, Dale and Barb. In 1973 they picked up stakes and moved to Creston making Wynndel their home. They moved back to Alberta while Russ ran and operated his mobile mechanics and started up his dragline business working in southern Alberta until 1993 when they returned to Wynndel to continue their life together.

She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Alice Plaister; husband A. Russell (Russ) Webb; brother John (Jack) Plaister; sisters-in-law Roberta (Bert) Glover and Myrt Robinson.

Flo is survived by her sister Dorothy; her three children- Carol (Randy) Webb, Dale (Jane) Webb, Barb (Gordon) Ogilvie; five granddaughters- Brianne, Tasha (Mark), Ceanna (Jennifer), Tracey, and Kayla; one great-grandson Hayden; as well as nephews and nieces.
