Ernest Emil Kubisch
June 20, 1933 - October 5, 2017
It is with sad hearts that we announce that Ernest Emil Kubisch of Creston, B.C. went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 1: 15 p.m., with his wife Erika, of 24 years, by his side.
Ernie was born in Heatherdown near Onoway, Alberta. He celebrated his 84th birthday on June 20, 2017.
He left behind his dear sister Margaret Burbidge of Centerville, Nova Scotia; three daughters, Lorry Mann of Nelson, B.C., Barbara Ambrose of Prince George, B.C., and Chris Kubisch of Ardrie, Alberta; two stepchildren, Zane Kushnirak of Vernon, B.C. and Xina Kushnirak of Victroria, B.C.; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and friends all over the world.
He will forever live in our hearts and be remembered for his smile that was as warm as sunshine and his heart that was as big as all outdoors, his hugs that warmed you from the inside out, his quick wit and humor that made people laugh, his wisdom and knowledge seemed never ending.
Ernie was always willing to help and considered others before himself. He was a wonderful father, a super husband and a great man. We will all miss him so very much.
A Celebration of Ernie's Life will be held at New Life Christian Church in Creston sometime in April of 2018, date and time to be announced later.
