Elizabeth Sweetman passed away peacefully on August 21, 2018 in Creston, BC.
Elizabeth was born in Prelate, SK. After finishing high school in Saskatchewan, Betty joined the air force as a clerk where she met her husband Murray, an air force pilot. As a military wife, Betty moved the family during many postings across Canada, and three years in France.
Betty was a private person who enjoyed spending time with her family, as well as many hobbies, such as sewing, ceramics and scrapbooking.
She was predeceased by her mother, father, and brothers Tony and Roy.
After 63 years of marriage, Betty leaves behind her husband Murray Sweetman; son David (Nee); daughter Kimberly (Steve); grandchildren Sarah (Aaron), Alexandra, Patrick, Ben and Angie; sister Marjorie (Bill); sisters-in-law Marie and Margaret, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private Catholic Mass was held on August 23, 2018.
