Elaine Gertrude Avery
1938 ~ 2010
After an adventurous and joyful life and a long struggle with ALS, Elaine Gertrude Avery passed on December 31, 2010 at the age of 72.
She leaves behind husband Buster of 52 years; three sons, Bruce (Cindy), William (Virginia), David (Susan); daughter Mary-Jo (Bob); seven grandchildren, Amanda (Andrew), Brandon, Chandra, Breanna, Paige, Shelby, Zachery and one great-grandchild Keira.
My Light is Out
My light is fading, my muscles spent
Please try and be content
As my light leaves please do not grieve
With you all in my heart a new light will start
Remember me with joy and laughter
And I’ll wait for you in the Ever-After.
