Ed Loseth

September 23, 1946 ~ May 23, 2016

On May 23, 2016 Ed passed away at his Kootenay Lake property in Boswell, BC from an assumed heart attack at the age of 69.

Ed was born and raised in Broadview, SK but spent most of his working life in Innisfail, AB where he met and married his wife Lexie in 1971. He then retired to Creston in 2002 to enjoy a milder climate, their place on Kootenay Lake, his favourite golf course and he enjoyed his travels to the Maritimes, New England, Europe, and California.

Ed was a member of the Innisfail Rotary Club, Innisfail Boys & Girls Club, the Innisfail Masonic Lodge, and the Innisfail and Creston Golf Clubs. He enjoyed all kinds of sports but mainly downhill skiing and golfing. He liked challenging himself by solving computer problems, building dune buggies, and fixing just about anything mechanical.

Ed is predeceased by his parents, Melvin and Dorothy Loseth of Broadview, SK and his sister, Linda Chaskavich, also of Broadview, SK.

He is survived by his wife, Lexie; brothers Allen (Rosemary) of Brampton, ON; Howard (Janice) of Regina, SK; sister Jeannie (Garnet) of Alida, SK as well as one niece, several nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

At Ed’s request, there will be no funeral service.

Those who wish to make a donation in his memory may do so to the Creston Golf Club, 1800 Mallory Rd. Creston, BC, V0B 1G2 or to Creston Valley Public Library, 531-16th Ave S. Creston, BC, V0B 1G5.
