Donna Kaetler
August 19, 1956 ~ February 22, 2012
Donna Kaetler was born August 19, 1956 in New Westminster, BC. She moved with her parents to Quesnel, BC where she received her education. After high school she stayed in Quesnel, worked and raised a family. She later moved to Campbell River, BC to work and then to Radium Hot Springs, BC. In 1990 she moved to Creston, BC where she met Robert Hoegi. They were never married but they shared their lives together until her death on February 22, 2012.
Donna had her own business doing books and income taxes. She also did books at the Creston Branch – Royal Canadian Legion, where she was a member.
Donna loved the outdoors and spending weekends at the lake. She was an avid gardener and spent hours in the yard. She also had many other hobbies, a couple being crocheting and quilting. Donna loved cats and looked after many strays over the years during the winters.
Donna was predeceased by her father Arthur Kaetler.
She will be deeply missed by her common-law husband Robert Hoegi; mother Charlotte Kaetler; son Michael (Carrie) Jones; daughter Jennifer (Chris) Holm; grandchildren Robin and Geonieva Jones and William and Robert Holm; brothers James (Tracy) Kaetler with children Chris and Shawna and Tim Kaetler with son Kyle, along with numerous cousins.
There was no funeral service held at the request of Donna.
