In loving memory ~
Donna Graham (Gauthier) passed peacefully in her sleep on February 13, 2022.
Donna spent most of her life in the Creston Valley growing up in Erickson then building a home on 10 acres in Canyon where she raised her daughter Kyra.
Her teaching career began in the Lower Mainland and the majority was then spent specializing in Learning Assistance throughout most schools in the Valley.
Many will remember Donna as an enthusiastic gardener who loved to bring friends and neighbours fresh flowers and veggies. She was a curler for many years in Creston and an avid golfer in the warmer months. A walk and coffee with the girls was always a favourite pastime.
Donna left Creston in 2010 for Parksville, BC to be closer to her daughter Kyra and cherished granddaughters Mikayla and Kristanna. While she wasn't always a fan of Island weather, she took advantage of Island life with beach walks, watching the cruise ships from her living room, and best of all - golfing all year round!
She will be greatly missed by many friends and neighbours, and especially by Mikayla and Kristanna, of whom she was extremely proud. They will miss her quiet support, genuine kindness, unconditional love, and of course her homemade pickles!
