Donald Louis Lansing

Donald Louis Lansing passed away unexpectedly following a brief illness on February 15, 2013 in Oliver, BC at the age of 84 years.
Don was born to parents Louisa and Laurence Lansing on March 7, 1928 in Daysland, AB. He received his education in Viking, AB.
Don married the love of his life, Emma Foraie, on February 20, 1950 in Lethbridge, AB and together they raised their four children.
Don enjoyed numerous activities including gardening, leather craft, reading and cooking. He was also a long time member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was predeceased by his wife, Emma; son Glenn; sister Marion and brothers Art and Gordon.
Don will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Gloria (Ron) Messenchuk of Creston, BC; son Larry (Jane) Lansing of Lethbridge, AB; daughter Marla (Ray) Moon of Oliver, BC; sisters Rita Dickson of Yahk, BC and Pat Admundson of Viking, AB; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass was held Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Tom Kakkaniyil officiating.
