Doris "Delores" Teresa Medcalfe, resident of Creston, British Columbia passed away July 15, 2018 in Dawson Creek at the age of 58. Delores was born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan to parents John Roy and Ruth Blackman. She was the oldest of six children. She grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, lived in Fort St. John, BC and then moved to Creston in 2010 to run Creston Valley Cabs. She was also a volunteer at the Creston Museum.
Delores was a people person, and loved to laugh. She enjoyed following hockey through the season, listening to ACDC, and scrapbooking very much. Delores is predeceased by her parents John and Ruth, and her brother Warren.
She is fondly remembered by her husband Al Medcalfe; daughter Brandy (Curtis) Dyck; stepson Roy Medcalfe; grandchildren Galateya and Alyssa; and siblings Roland, Rosalie, Charlene, and Brian.
