Dell Jones of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Evan Jones, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2014 at the age of 81 years.
Dell was born on March 28, 1933 in Lac Vert, SK. She was an active member of the Eagles and spent a lot of time volunteering for the Cancer Society. She enjoyed playing cards, camping, being outdoors and spending time with her daughter, granddaughters and great-grandchildren.
Dell is survived by her daughter Linda (Wayne) Janzer of Lethbridge, AB; four grandchildren- Leigh (Troy) Bruntjen of Lethbridge, Jill Janzer of Lethbridge, Pamela (Ben) Dunn of Kimberley, BC, and Holly (Derek) Odland of Kindersley, SK; great-grandchildren Nicolas, Emily, Morgan, Cash, Brooke, Ty and Olivia.
She was predeceased by her parents Mike and Henrietta Steep; brothers Ray Steep, Les Steep, and Pete Steep; sisters Fay Cunningham and Lois Christianson; sisters-in-law Marie Steep and Carrie Steep, and nephew Gordie Steep.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Martin Brothers Riverview Chapel, 610 - 4 St. South, Lethbridge, AB.
