David Roth
June 18, 1918 ~ August 11, 2010
David Roth passed away on August 11, 2010 in Creston at the age of 92 years.
David was born on June 18, 1918 in Maple Creek, Sask. He attended high school in Maple Creek and then continued his education at the Alberta Bible Institution from 1937 – 1939.
David and Lillian Graber were married on October 13, 1939. He farmed in Saskatchewan for several years before moving to Creston, BC in 1958 to work in the forestry industry.
David loved fishing, hunting and spending time with friends. He also enjoyed fly tying and making fishing hooks.
David was predeceased by his wife Lillian Roth and stepdaughter Doreen Roth.
He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his four sons; Ivan Dennis Roth of Grand Prairie, AB, Barry Daryl Roth of Gibson, BC, Neil David Roth of Lethbridge, AB and Joseph Mathew Roth of Creston, BC and seven grandchildren.
A Funeral Service was held Tuesday August 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the G. F. Oliver Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bob Roth of Benalto, AB officiating.
Interment followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erickson, BC.
