Daniel Komar

Daniel Komar, a resident of Wynndel, BC, passed away on April 5, 2017.
Daniel was born in Natal BC on July 8, 1942. He was educated at Sirdar Elementary School, Wynndel Elementary School and Prince Charles Secondary School.
He married Darlene Alice Johnson on April 24, 1971. Like his father he continued to live in Wynndel and manage the family farm. He worked for 31 years at Crestbrook Forest Industries in Creston. He loved to read and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He truly was a Kootenay boy through and through.
Daniel was predeceasedby his parents Daniel and Helena Komar. and his brother William Komar.
He will be forever remembered by his loving wife Darlene (Johnson); his sisters Anne (Gerry) and Helen (Bob); his three sons: Jason (Christy), Daniel (Becky) and James (Crista); his nine grandchildren: Kieran, Katarina, Karyssa, Kianna, Keilan, Amy Pohl (Yan Archaunbault), Broc Pohl (Mia Milne) Curtis and Bodhi Komar; three great-grandchildren: Elsie, Isabelle and Yana.
A service will be held April 13, 2017 at 11:30am at Erickson Evangelical Covenant Church, with Rev. Ed Johnson officiating. Private Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erickson, BC.
