Clarence Alfred Taillefer

April 17, 1932 ~ January 1, 2017

Born in Porcupine Plain, Sask., Clarence joined the RCAF in 1953 where he met his wife Sheila. After leaving the RCAF, he worked as an electronics technician at Lenkurt Electric, CBC, MOT, and the RCMP. He finished his working life at Canada Post, retiring to the Creston Valley in 1993.

Clarence was a devoted husband and a principled man who had a keen mind and a fine sense of humour. Animals were his greatest passion and over the years he and Sheila loved their many and varied pets dearly.

Clarence is predeceased by his parents Arthur and Beatrice Taillefer; brother Arnold and sister Mavis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Sheila; son Steven (Susan); grandsons Myles and Graeme; brother Ed (Judy); sisters Marlene and Carol (Stu); sister-in-law Glee; and many nieces and nephews.

A family service will be held at a later date.
