C. Edith Messinger

Edith Messinger passed away peacefully September 6, 2016 at Swan Valley Lodge in Creston, BC.
Edith was born in Wartime, Saskatchewan on January 11, 1914 to Fred and Frances Messinger. She moved to the Creston Valley with her family in 1935. For many, their memories of Edith are of her time working at the Creston Valley Co-op.
Edith is predeceased by her parents Fred and Frances Messinger; sisters Nora (Dale) and Grace (Ross); brother Graham; and brother-in-law Don Ross.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Florence Messinger; nieces Wendy Dunsmore, Eileen Peltzer and Janeen Messinger; nephew Leonard Messinger and their families.
A Graveside service was held at Forest Lawn Cemetery on September 12, 2016 at 11am.
