In loving memory ~

Bradley Richard Wilkins passed away peacefully at home on September 3 2024 at the age of 59. He fought hard for 9 1/2 years with colorectal cancer that had metastasized to his liver. Brad was surrounded by his loving wife of 33 years and his 2 sons Zack Wilkins and Dylan Wilkins (Sarah).

He was born in Cranbrook, B.C .but he spent his early years growing up down the lake where he made many lifetime friends. He then moved to Creston and lived with his mother Marlene Hummer who predeceased him at the young age of 62.

Brad was liked by everyone who met him with his sarcastic funny sense of humour and his love of music. Brad liked more then anything to have his days off from Wynndel Box (20 years) and from Elkview Mine in Sparwood (12 . years) by picking up his guitar and learning and playing new and old songs.

He loved his boys and was so proud of the men they have become and was so thrilled to be in his son's Dylan wedding party last year. Brad and Renee moved to Lethbridge 12 years ago where he continued to commute to Sparwood to work at a job he loved with many people he considered good friends "friends for life." He was loved and will be deeply missed by his brother-in-law Kevin Wickhorst and his sister-in-law Kyla Hickl and numerous nieces and nephews who he adored. "There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they are gone, their light still remains."

Forever missed and loved, till we meet again.

Memorial to follow in Creston, B.C.
