January 9, 1943 - March 15, 2021
With heavy hearts we say goodbye to an incredible woman. On March 15, 2021, Barbara "Barb" Archibald (Sivorot) passed away at the age of 78 in Kelowna, BC. Barb was born in Kimberley, BC, on January 9, 1943.
She lived in Cranbrook and Vernon with her final hometown being Creston. She graduated from Kimberley's Selkirk High School in 1961. She went on to Western Business College and graduated in 1963. Throughout her professional life, she worked as an insurance agent, realtor, and marriage commissioner.
She was fierce and strong and wild in her own ways. She loved life, adventures, her sons and many grand and great grandchildren. She was a force to reckon with but always made sure to have fun in whatever she was doing. She loved to quilt and travel and was proud of her work with the GO-GO Grannies and their contribution to the Stephen Lewis Foundation.
We take comfort in knowing those she missed the most are by her side once again in heaven. Barb will be remembered by her sister Brenda Stewart (Alan), two children Ron Sivorot (Kristy) in Victoria and Colin Sivorot (Michele) in Beaver Lodge and her five grandchildren Griffin & Bjorn in Victoria, Jordan, Ryan, & Daniel in Beaverlodge and her great grandchildren Blakely and Rowen.
In lieu of flowers friends and family can make a memorial contribution to the Stephen Lewis Foundation 100 - 260 Spadina Avenue Toronto, ON M5T 2E4
