Ann Minnie Babic (nee Kuttnick) passed away on November 24, 2010

after a lengthy illness at the age of 80 years at Swan Valley Lodge.

Ann was born on December 17, 1929 in Calder, SK to parents Mary and Eric Kuttnick; she was also educated there.

In 1947 Ann moved to Calgary, AB where she worked hard at several jobs, including working at the Banff Springs Hotel, driving a taxi for Yellow Cab Calgary and selling Stanley Dinnerware Products. Her husband was a barber.

When Ann first moved to Creston in 1980, she enjoyed taking care of the farm, raising horses and other various animals. She loved all animals. She also enjoyed gardening, canning, photography and fishing.

Ann was a full time minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses and spent many happy hours discussing the bible with folks around Creston and down the lake.

Ann was predeceased by John Babic, Ervin Kuttnick, Violet Wharton, Eddie Ford, Charlie Kuttnick and Mary Kuttnick.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children; John, Sandra and Marc Babic, Alice Van Vy Feyken; grandchildren, Ellie Moore and Lindsay Powell; great-grandchild Elizabeth Moore; and siblings Julia Schultz, Eleanor Goertzen, Alma Bischler, Eric Kuttnick and Helen Aeichele, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (Creston), Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 1:00 p.m.
