Andree Gabrielle Lansing

October 3, 1937 ~ January 2, 2017

In loving memory of Andree, born October 3, 1937 in Ponteix, Saskatchewan, seventh of ten children born to Oliver and Aldea Douville. Andree spent her early childhood years in Coleman, AB and then moved to Creston where she completed high school.

In 1957 she met and married Gordon Lansing and quickly settled into her family life, raising six children with a firm and loving touch, always there to support them through their growing and adult years. Her first priority was having fun and was always the first to join in on winter tobogganing adventures and summer swims at the river and lake. Camping at Kootenay Lake were highlights of each year along with being surrounded by family for Christmas gatherings.

A fierce competitor when playing many board and card games, Andree loved to play with anyone up for the challenge. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic Women’s League and enjoyed many years of curling with her ‘Gang’ of girls.

Andree is predeceased by both her mom and dad; her husband Gordon; six siblings: Leona, Paul, Laurette, Therese, Armand, and Leo.

She is survived by three brothers: Lucien, Rene, and Denis; two daughters: Yvonne Vigne (Rob deceased) and Adele Royer (Marc); four sons: Karl (Louise), Brian (Wendy), Francis (Charisse), and David (Catherine). She has 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren that she enjoyed spending time with and was proud of. Her big heart and glowing smile will always be remembered by all who shared in her beautiful life.
