Alma Joyce Davis

Alma Joyce Davis passed away in Bastion Place, Salmon Arm, BC on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the age of 80 years.

Alma was born in Elrose, Saskatchewan on June 6, 1929. She had resided in Creston, BC until moving to Sicamous, BC eight months ago.

During Alma’s career as a registered nurse she had worked in Vancouver, California, Prince Rupert, Juneau, Alaska and Salmon Arm. Alma and John moved often following John’s work with the US Coast Guard.

Alma was predeceased by her husband, John in 2006 and her sister, Irene Walker.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Liz (Cameron) Henton of Salmon Arm, Frank and Bob, both of Calgary; three grandchildren, Alicia (Daryl) Wilson of Linden, AB, Angel and Kyle Henton of Salmon Arm; seven great-grandchildren and one sister, Kay Wagg of Victoria.

A family service was held from the Bowers Funeral Home Mountainside Room on Monday, April 26.
