It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allan Fredrick Oquist of Wynndel, B.C. on July 2, 2019 at the age of 79. He is survived and will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Linda. Al worked both as a Grey Hound Bus driver and as a Longshoreman. He also spent countless hours in his youth mining with his father. Al loved to fly fish, hunt, go on motor-cycle trips and spend time with his dogs Max and Heidy. Al enjoyed spending time with his wife Linda, family and friends. Al was an avid fan of watching Sci-Fi TV shows and movies! Al liked experiencing the outdoors with Linda, going camping, for walks and bicycling. Friends and family gathered for a viewing and time of fellowship to celebrate Al's life on July 5th, 2019 and at a later date a private family service will be held in his honor. Friends and family wishing to make a memorial contribution may do so to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
