Alexander Leo Eymann

Alexander Leo Eymann died on August 6, 2010 in Creston BC at the age of 77 years.


Alexander was born on March 6, 1933 in Switzerland.

He received his education at the School of Fine Arts in Zurich and Berlin and studied Architectural Drafting in Bern Switzerland.


Alexander married Maja on March 1958 and together they moved to Canada in 1961. He worked in the mines in Manitonwadge, northern Ontario until 1992 and then retired to Creston, BC.


He was an avid hunter and environmentalist; he was a member of Wildsight and the Green Party. Alexander enjoyed art and completed many oil paintings.


Alexander is survived by his wife Maja Eymann, daughter Susan Eymann, son Markus Eymann, grandson Brandon Eymann and great-grandsons Xander Eymann and Damien Eymann.


A small family gathering was held at the family residence on August 12, 2010.
