Albert Mike Kitt

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Albert Mike Kitt on February 13, 2017 at Creston, B.C.


Albert was born on November 21, 1940 in Vegreville, Alberta to William and Marie Kitt. Albert received schooling in Cranbrook, B.C. He then joined the Canadian Navy in 1958 where he flew in the joint Canada - U.S.A. Cuban blockade during the missile crisis. He later took training in mechanical drafting. He paved many roads in British Columbia, sold auto parts, cars, advertising and was an auctioneer for many years.

Albert enjoyed meeting and talking to new people, playing cards, and joking around.

Albert is predeceased by his parents, in-laws, niece Heidi, sister-in-law Ann, brother-in-law Ron, and brother-in-law Jim and sister-in-law Yvonne.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gail Kitt; sons Jason (Maureen) Kitt and Matthew Kitt; daughter Tracey Kitt; brothers Ed Kitt and Will Kitt (Jenny Steele); sister Marian Kitt; grandchildren Eden (Tristan) Standing and Sarah Lindhorst (Richard Williams); great-grandson Beck Standing; numerous nieces, nephews, great -nieces and -nephews; and many friends.

A Celebration of Life service to be held in the spring.
