Agnes Jenstad
1916 ~ 2010
Agnes peacefully passed in the presence of her Lord and Saviour on the evening of February 26, 2010.
She was born to John and Olga Johnson in 1916 in the farming community of Canyon, BC.
She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters Hannah and Helen, her brother Walter and by her husband of 65 years, Ingvald.
She is survived by her sons, Stanley, Earl, Ronald and Donald; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
For the past ten years Agnes has been cared for by the wonderful staff at the Menno Hospital who often said she was a model patient. The family is thankful for the care she received and for Helga who regularly visited her.
A graveside service was held on March 3, 2010.
A celebration of her life will take place at the Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church, 33218 Marshall Rd, Abbotsford, BC on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 2:00 pm.
